Who the client is

A niche Australian healthtech company that makes a cloud reporting platform for hospital respiratory and sleep labs, built by respiratory scientists and used by public health services in Australia and the UK. Their buyers are hospital and health-system lab managers, and those buyers now shortlist vendors through AI.

The challenge

Hospital procurement cycles are long, so every lead source matters. The company had relied on ads and exhibitions, which brought results at a high cost per lead, and wanted a new channel for leads. On 18 February 2026, the company's appearance rate was 0.6%. Appearance rate is the share of relevant AI answers that mention the company, so AI assistants named it in fewer than 1 in 100 relevant answers.

What Simaia did

We published LinkedIn posts on a regular schedule and a press release, and kept index speed high so every new page was picked up quickly by search engines and the AI platforms that read them.

Results

In around three months, the appearance rate went from 0.6% to 45%+. Website visitors doubled. The visibility also opened a conversation with one of the largest Australian healthcare companies.

How we measured it

Appearance rate (whether an AI mentioned the company in its response) tracked weekly across the prompts the company's buyers ask, plus website sessions in Google Analytics and inbound conversations.
